Want to Know the Energies You Can Expect from This New Moon?

A Special Message About The Energies of the Current New Moon From Reverend Pauline Southard

The Sagittarius New Moon of November 23, 2022 happily rides in after work on Wednesday gifting us with a preholiday burst of enthusiasm. Although this New Moon does have some challenges, overall it is a welcome change from the intensity and drama of many of this year’s lunar cycles. Definitely a plus for the start of the holiday season!

I’ve always felt that Sagittarius is an interesting and complex sign although that may not be obvious when we first begin a relationship with a Sagittarius. The last of the fire signs, Sagittarius tends to be cheerful and optimistic.

They can be the life of any social event, giving the impression that they are just party animals! However, there is a deep vein of humanitarianism and altruism that they often express in very heroic ways. So many of the Sagittarians I know are police officers and fire fighters. Sagittarius are the philosophers of the Zodiac and often spend their lives seeking to discover the secrets of the universe. They are natural teachers, whether or not they pursue this calling professionally.

Astrocharts had the most elegant take on the seeming contradictions of the Sagittarius archetype, traditionally seen to be half man and half horse.  “In today’s symbology, Sagittarius is represented by a centaur archer, who pulls back an arrow that he aims toward the sky. The horse half symbolizes raw, spontaneous impulse, and the capacity to roam and explore with incredible stores of energy. The archer half symbolizes the human mind, on a mission to find meaning and satisfaction from one’s experiences. Concentration of focus is needed by the archer to make his target, which is purposeful, optimistic, and far-reaching.”

At its best, Sagittarius is FUN, optimistic, honest, spontaneous, enthusiastic, great travelers, wise and friendly.

When Sagittarian energy is used unproductively it can be impatient, unfocused, short tempered, over confident and tactless.

Famous Sagittarius natives include: Miley Cyrus, Tina Turner, Werner Heisenberg, Jon Stewart, Tiffany Haddish, Nicki Minaj, Samuel L. Jackson, Billie Ellish, Winston Churchill and Jane Austen.

Jupiter, the traditional ruler of Sagittarius will end its retrograde motion at the time of this New Moon. Jupiter, the planet of luck and abundance magnifies all that it is associated with. As Jupiter moves direct, we will start to feel the motivation that we have been lacking. It will also boost the positive energy of this New Moon, leading to our ability to manifest new beginnings. Actually, just wonderful happy energy!

After the intensity of last month’s Scorpio New Moon amplified by its accompanying eclipse season, we are all going to really enjoy this burst of joyous Sagittarian energy as we move through the holiday season. As a retrograde Mars trines Saturn, we will have a second chance at mending a seemingly hopeless situation dear to our hearts.

This New Moon will be the first of five upcoming super New Moons. Super New Moons occur when the Moon is closer to the Earth in its orbit than usual at the time of the New Moon. This will definitely increase the energies and effects of these New Moons. So glad we are starting with this Sagittarius New Moon where bigger really is better!

The only cloud on this otherwise sunny New Moon chart is the T-square involving the still retrograde Mars, Hygeia, the asteroid I use to describe health and Ceres. We can expect to see issues with availability of hospital beds as the so called tripledemic of flu, RSV and Covid-19 cases increase as people return to prepandemic ways of celebrating the holidays. The children, immune compromised and elderly are particularly at risk. Common sense and good hygiene are the best remedies here. So very 6th house!

For this lovely lunation, I decided to consult the wise and joyful Light Seer’s Tarot by Chris-Anne. I was guided to purchase this deck by one of my wonderful and very psychic Pisces friends. It has become one of my favorite decks. In addition to being visually beautiful, it is a deck that inspires profound readings. I often use it when I read for my clients at Karma.

After preparing for my monthly New Moon reading, I asked the cards, “What do we need to know or do to flow harmoniously with the energies of this Sagittarius New Moon so that we can manifest its most positive possible potential?”

I was delighted to see The Star literally fly out of the deck!  Biddy Tarot, a wonderful online tarot resource tells us that, “As The Star follows The Tower card in Tarot, it comes as a welcome reprieve after a period of turmoil. The Star brings renewed hope and faith, and a sense that you are truly blessed by the Universe. You are entering a peaceful, loving phase in your life, filled with calm energy and mental stability. Magic is flowing around you.

Tarot.com adds, “The Star Tarot card is about reconnecting one’s soul with the divine.”  Chris-Anne’s rendition of The Star is an exquisite representation of our ability to reach out for our spiritual birthright- our connection with The Devine.  We are encouraged to reach out from our hearts and bring down to Earth through our bodies this ever present gift.

This Sagittarius New Moon offers us the opportunity to make this a reality in our lives this month- with a twist! New Moons always offer us a chance at a fresh start. This New Moon arrives in the sixth house of its chart, for those of us who live on the east coast of the USA. This is the natural home of Virgo. In order to use the energy of this New Moon for our greatest good we need to combine the contradictory natures of fiery enthusiastic Sagittarius with the earthy cautious detail oriented nature of Virgo.

As I meditated upon this astrological puzzle, I began to channel information that got more profound as I listened to my guides. Initially I was told that some practical ways to work with this energy are to review our diet and exercise routines. Incorporating exercises that raise body heat as is appropriate for our particular bodies as well as using warming spices in our foods will benefit us during this cycle. The Ayurveda diet offers some very helpful ideas on how to accomplish this.

Going deeper, it was suggested that we strive to become more aware of our connection to the spiritual as we move through the seeming mundane activities that comprise most of our waking hours. We could stop even for just a moment and really see/sense/feel the inherent beauty and the spark of The Devine in that instant.

William Blake (1757-1827) the English poet and artist wrote, ” To see a World in a Grain of Sand And a Heaven in a Wild Flower Hold Infinity in the palm of your hand And Eternity in an hour.” This is the key to finding the magic of this holiday season.

Blake was a Sagittarius who was largely unknown during his life, but is now considered to be one of the most noteworthy writers of his era. He was highly psychic, having visions from the age of four. Blake rebelled against the conventions of his time and pursed his own unique philosophy of life. Classic Sagittarius!

I have found that Deva Primal’s version of the Gayatri Mantra, The Gayatri Mantra Around The World found on YouTube to be a beautiful and inspiring portal to this kind of spiritual practice. The Gayatri Mantra, a famous Hindu mantra is dedicated to the aspect of the sun just before sunrise so that all the potential energy emanating from the entire cosmos is contained within Gayatri.

The ancient Vedic texts state that meditation with the Gayatri Mantra develops within you the feeling of constantly living in the divine state of pure consciousness. When your heart is completely open to the Gayatri, all the actions you perform in the world will be transformed into highly noble actions dedicated to the divine. Gayatri is said to be the heart of the Vedas. Its esoteric meaning is that it gives you the knowledge of the oneness of the individual soul with the supreme soul. If you feel called to go further, https://chopra.com/articles/the-gayatri-mantra-for-enlightenment will help.

Traditionally I put two or three special crystals into the Manifestation Grid that help us to work with the astrological energies of the current New Moon. These additional crystals will energize the Grid and make it even more effective since I choose crystals that reflect the energy of the totality of the chart, not just the sign that the New Moon is in. I would encourage you to work with them as well since they are perfect for this lunar cycle. I love the energy of both of these crystals and I hope that you will enjoy them as well.

The striking Turquoise is a traditional crystal for Sagittarius. Turquoise has been known for its magical properties since the beginning of time. The ancient Egyptians used Turquoise in their protective amulets. Turquoise jewelry often graced Egyptian royalty. The American Indian people revere Turquoise as well, which represents life.  The colors of Turquoise connect the Earth and the skies above.

Turquoise will help us this cycle to remain balanced, calm and harmonious, counteracting the excess of fire in this New Moon chart. Turquoise is a stone of strength, good for fatigue, despair, panic attacks and depression. It improves psychic and physical immune systems, and supports the absorption of nutrients, viral infections, and alleviating pollution. Turquoise is an anti-inflammatory and detoxifying stone, which also helps in reducing excess acidity and benefits rheumatism, gout, and the stomach. All for useful for the holiday season!

The lovely Fluorite crystal will help us to think clearly and focus as we move through this holiday season, so we avoid feeling scattered and overwhelmed. Fluorite is an excellent discernment tool that will help us to become aware of lies and deception. It helps to increase intuition and promote creative thinking.

I have been so grateful for the overwhelming positive response to the Manifestation Grid that I started eight years ago. I love seeing people put their requests into the grid and hearing about all the positive results so many of you have had. Now it is possible to either use the Manifestation Grid in person when you come in to Karma or you may continue to put your requests into the Grid at a distance as you have been doing during the time that the store was closed.

Archangel Metatron, my primary guide had channeled this method to help you to put your requests in remotely:

#1- Please write your intentions on a piece of paper with the date, feeling love in your heart as you do OR for ANY positive purpose whatsoever!

#2- Visualize yourself accomplishing your desire. (I would certainly appreciate if you could also request the end of the killing both  in Ukraine and here in America, the disappearance of the Corona Virus, all illness and the quick healing of ALL of those affected and the healing of all inequality and hate ), feeling love in your heart as you do OR for ANY positive purpose whatsoever!

#3- Using the picture on the Karma website, intend to put your request into the grid just as you would if you were in the store. Archangel Metatron has told me that he will help you to make that happen. You do NOT need to be good at visualizing! Every morning I will be charging the Grid with long distance Reiki and other powerful energies to help make your wishes come true.

#4- When you feel that the process is complete you may either dispose of the paper or put it on your altar, refrigerator or paste it into your journal. It is helpful but not necessary to spend a few minutes every day for the next thirty days repeating Step 3. Your intentions will be active in the Grid for the next 30 days. !

I am so happy that I am now back at A Time for Karma doing readings in person on Saturdays. Reading for you over the last 20 years here at Karma has been one of the most rewarding experiences I have ever had. Please call either A Time for Karma at (516) 442-3200 or you may call me directly at (516) 445-4242 to schedule your reading.

I will leave you now with words of wisdom, which brilliantly capture the essence of this Sagittarius New Moon from Steven Charleston, a Native American elder whose beautiful daily meditations can be found on his Facebook page:

“Can you feel it? That slight change in the vibration of the Earth? That shift in the current of the wind? That sense that something is starting to happen.

“The elders say you can feel it in the air. You can see it in the behavior of the animals because they feel it too. It is the energy released when the infinite comes into the finite, when the sacred enters the everyday. A deep power can be felt, just beneath the surface of our reality.

“The Spirit has come. You can feel it.”~ Native American elder Steven Charleston

Wishing you a Sagittarius lunar cycle filled with joy and inspiration!

A special thank you to The Crystal Vaults online crystal encyclopedia for their extensive information about crystals. It is unusual to find a site that is so comprehensive.

I also found The Crystal Life’s information to be very helpful as I researched this month’s crystal allies.

Last Month's New Moon Message

The Scorpio New Moon of Oct 25, 2022 slinks into our consciousness early on Tuesday morning, for those of us on the east coast of the USA. Still largely in dreamland, we feel tempted by the siren calls of charming and mysterious mermaids and mermen to surrender – just a few more minutes of delicious rest and possibly delightful dreams. Watch out! We may wake at noon happy and befuddled having totally blown off all our responsibilities!

Scorpio is the second of the water signs, Cancer and Pisces comprise the other two members of the trio. Scorpio is ALL about emotion and so has gained a reputation of being dramatic and intense. My go to key words for this sign are: sex, death and rebirth.

To complicate matters, Scorpio can be incredibly secretive and private. For a Scorpion, it is the ultimate betrayal to spill their secrets to the public and Scorpio can feel that “the public” is anyone beyond the two of you!

At its best, Scorpio is loyal, passionate, intuitive, creative, determined, empathic and profound in their philosophical approach to life.

When Scorpio energy is used unproductively it can be: jealous, possessive resentful, vengeful, controlling and capable of holding a grudge for what seems like forever.

Famous Scorpio natives include: Joe Biden, Robert F Kennedy, Bill Gates, Julia Roberts, Whoopi Goldberg, Katy Perry, Georgia O’Keefe and Pablo Picasso.

Scorpio is one of the most complex and fascinating signs. It is the only sign that is associated with more than one animal. The most common animal associated with Scorpio is the Scorpion. The Scorpion is the most primal expression of Scorpio energy. Scorpions have a shell to protect themselves and will sting when attacked. They are masters at self-preservation. Scorpio natives tend to hide in their shells and do not easily trust others. They will attack either verbally or physically if they feel that their trust is betrayed.

The next level of Scorpio is the Eagle that soars into the sky and sees the big picture, swooping down to pounce on its prey when hungry. Eagles act fearlessly, swiftly and instinctively, assessing the situation from high above and then act decisively. Your Scorpio friend may seem to take forever to commit to a course of action. Don’t be surprised when seemingly out of nowhere they suddenly make a major life course correction. They have been privately contemplating it for quite some time. Once they have decided, it is very unusual for them to change their mind.

Snake is one of the classic animals associated with Scorpio. Snakes symbolize transformation, death, rebirth and creation. As snakes shed their skin, so Scorpio will shed its persona as it goes through life, emerging stronger with each transformation.

The ultimate and most evolved expression of Scorpio energy is represented by the Phoenix. The Phoenix is a mythical bird that willingly flies into the fires of the funeral pyre so it may die and be born again. This is Scorpio at its best- the ability to radically change and transform at the deepest levels. “Out of the darkness and into the light.” Once the Scorpio has returned victorious, they will often create a future where they can help others on their journeys- usually one on one!

As we can see, Scorpio is clearly an intriguing multifaceted sign. This Scorpio New Moon certainly does justice to this complexity by offering us a potent and multi-layered New Moon chart. I’m calling it, “Scorpio on Steroids.” As we’ll soon see, this entire lunar cycle has the potential to be the most action packed of the entire year. Buckle up, friends!

For starters, this New Moon presents us with a partial solar eclipse. All solar eclipses will occur on the New Moon since a solar eclipse happens when the Moon in its orbit moves in front of the Sun and partially or fully obscures the Sun.

Traditionally, solar eclipses were said to be omens of bad luck, especially to the ruler of a country. Modern day humanistic astrology teaches that a solar eclipse gives us the opportunity to reconnect with the most primal instinctive part of ourselves. This partial Scorpio Solar Eclipse will certainly give us this gift in abundance.

It will be helpful to listen to that part of ourselves that we either ignore or simply shove aside now because the message seems inconvenient or too disruptive. We can ask that too often ignored part of ourselves, “What do you need to be whole?” Simply listen. You may be surprised at what you hear/see/sense/know. Writing down this information will make it easier for us to act on what we receive rather than simply ignoring it and moving forward. It is unwise to disregard the knowledge that we are gifted with as that ignored part of ourselves will find increasingly unpleasant ways to get our attention. We are not being punished- it is simply the Universe’s way of helping us to achieve our soul potential.

As we dig deeper into this labyrinth of a New Moon chart, the next important factor is the imminent approach of Mars, the ancient ruler of Scorpio, beginning its retrograde cycle in Gemini on October 30, 2022. Mars will turn direct on January 12, 2023.

Mars is the classical god of war. In modern times, Mars symbolizes action, assertiveness and desire. Mars stations retrograde every twenty-six months, with these retrogrades normally lasting between two to two-and-a-half months. During these transits, Mars appears to move backward in the sky as seen from Earth.

We can expect that Mars retrograding through Gemini will cause all kinds of communication chaos ranging from complete and possibly darkly comic misunderstandings between lovers to internet piracy of government websites to possibly disastrous misreading of the actions of foreign governments. It is vitally important to make sure that during this time, we speak kindly rather than emote with the goal of gratifying our egos.

In the big picture, we will be asked to consider as a nation questions about the nature of facts and truth. Do we get to make up our own facts? Is there such a thing as a reality that we all agree to? Can we all agree on what constitutes truth?

Instead of these questions being debated in a college philosophy course, they will become the key underlying issues that will shape the very fabric of our lives as we navigate through this Mars retrograde cycle.

I am especially concerned with future events as the war continues in Ukraine. Vladimir Putin’s chart has some very troubling aspects which may cause him to delude himself as to the truth of the progress of the war in Ukraine.  Finding himself backed into a corner, he may well act recklessly with catastrophic consequences. Around the time of the Full Moon lunar eclipse will be the most pivotal time for him and unfortunately, the rest of the world. Please keep Ukraine in your prayers. It is always better to light a single candle than curse the darkness!

Descending yet again into the depths of this Scorpio New Moon chart, I see that the two primary symbols that represent women and men, Venus and Mars respectively, face significant challenges to their ability to freely express their energy.

Venus, symbolizing women as a whole, is very closely conjunct the New Moon eclipse and so is deeply affected by its energy. Secondly, Venus is in Scorpio, a sign which it is completely incompatible with its essential nature. Venus is most comfortable in Taurus and Libra. Venus in Scorpio is said to be in detriment traditionally, since it is in its opposite sign.

When Venus in Scorpio feels insecure or out of control in romantic relationships, the tendency is to become highly possessive and incredibly jealous. Since eclipse energy tends to extinguish our inhibitions and the rational thought process that we use to control ourselves, expect fireworks. Some of this repressed energy may need to come up so we can heal.

I expect to see women in Iran continue to demand their human rights. The issue over who controls women’s bodies will become even more heated, if that is possible. At the personal level, women may just decide, seemingly out of nowhere to leave relationshsips that make them feel disempowered or even abused. The fears that kept all of these women silent for so long will no longer seem to matter, even if there are difficult practical consequences.

As discussed above, Mars, symbolizing men as a whole, will be slowing to retrograde at the time of the Scorpio New Moon partial solar eclipse. Mars in Gemini retrograde can feel scattered and unable to act or communicate effectively. Since Mars will be moving backwards towards a square to Neptune, it may feel uneasy, as though something is wrong but can’t quite put a finger on the cause of the problem.

Expect lots of stress and strain between the sexes on both the home and job front as well on the national political scene.  Both sexes may feel threatened.  It will be tempting to lash out, just to release the tension. To further complicate matters, since psychology teaches that we all have a male and female part of ourselves (the anima and animus in Jungian psychology), there will also be the internal strain that we feel as we work to make sense of it all!

It’s a great time to meditate, take an Epsom salt bath with some lavender thrown in or take a long walk at a quiet beach and most of all, remember to BREATHE!

The perfect book to read during this wet and watery New Moon is listening in the Dark: Women reclaiming the Power of Intuition by Amber Tamblyn. Ms. Tamblyn has gathered an impressive group of well-known American women including Amy Poehler, Lidia Yuknavitch, America Ferrara, Ada Limon, Jessica Valenti and Samantha Irby whose essays take a fresh and powerful look at this often neglected super power that we all possess.

Scorpio is inherently intuitive, psychic and sensitive. Scorpio feels and knows! This New Moon chart has the majority of its planets on the bottom, doubling down on its internal naturally sensitive nature. Western culture tends to value logic over intuition, depriving us of embracing our full human potential. This book provides us with gripping stories about the gifts our intuition will grace us with when we are willing to listen.

I’ve saved what I consider to be the most important piece of this Scorpio New Moon cycle mosaic piece for last. This Scorpio New Moon partial solar eclipse is inextricably linked to the Full Moon on November 8, 2022. This Full Moon presents us with a total lunar eclipse, completing this eclipse season.

A total lunar eclipse occurs when the Sun, Earth and Moon are precisely aligned, causing the Earth to cast a shadow on the Moon. During this eclipse, the Earth’s atmosphere will scatter the blue light, allowing the red light to pass through so that the Moon will appear blood red- very dramatic. In the New York area, the Moon will appear to begin disappearing at around 3:00 am on November 8, 2022 but it will not reach totality until 5:15 am and will be at maximum at 6:00 am. Definitely worth getting up early to watch. No equipment necessary!

In addition to the celestial drama, lunar eclipses tend to be deeply emotional events for us and our world. Solar eclipses are said to bring about events, while lunar eclipses help us to dig deep into our emotions and work with our shadow sides. This Scorpio Eclipse season will not follow those rules. We can expect lots of high drama, events and emotions for both the New Moon solar eclipse and the Full moon lunar eclipse.

To further heighten the furor, once again the Saturn/Uranus square will be activated As I have written previously, “Saturn, the planet of discipline, structure, rules and authority will do battle with Uranus, the planet of revolution, rebellion and freedom. Saturn turned retrograde in early June 2022 and now is moving backwards in the sky to recreate the Saturn/Uranus square again that caused so much trouble in 2021- the January 6, 2021 insurrection was the most significant event.

It is very concerning to me that this Full Moon Lunar Eclipse falls exactly on the U.S. Election Day. These midterm elections will be a crucial factor in deciding which direction our country heads in the years to come.   All of the pent-up energy from the New Moon solar eclipse will be ready for release. Astrology teaches that new beginnings and plans are made on the New Moon and the results are seen and come to a head on the Full Moon. After a very heated election season, we can expect all kinds of attempted election shenanigans. At worst, we may see a continuing drift away from democracy and towards autocracy/fascism as well as the possibility of violence. On a subtler level expect to see an ongoing campaign of disinformation.

Looking at the chart of the USA set for both eclipses, we can see the big picture that is currently in progress that sets the stage for this eclipse season and will exacerbate the eclipses’ effects. The USA experienced its first Pluto return in February of this year. However, its influence can be said to have started a number of years ago. Pluto return influenced events include the pandemic, the protests that erupted after the death of George Floyd and the January 6th insurrection. Pluto return happens when Pluto returns to where it was when the USA was born. (Yes, countries have birth charts as well as people!) Since Pluto takes 248 years to orbit the Sun, this is a very slow transit and will continue to influence us for several years to come.  Pluto, the modern ruler of Scorpio (again!), is the ruler of the underworld and embodies the themes of destruction, death and rebirth. Astrologer Dana DeFranco tells us that for all countries, Pluto return symbolizes the end of empires, transfer of power and the changing of the guard.

The USA will also be experiencing its biennial Mars return. Mars return occurs when Mars returns to where it was when the USA was born. Just as with us, Mars represents in a chart drive, aggression and desire. On Election Day, Mars will have gone retrograde adding to the confused messy energy. Did I forget to mention that Mars is the classical ruler of Scorpio?

In light of all of this tumult, I was compelled to consult the absolutely unique Cosma Visions Oracle by James R. Eads. This is undoubtly the quintessential Scorpio deck and utterly perfect for this lunar cycle as it is a “journey of the soul through the space between lives.” This indie deck is truly a work of art from the box that houses it to the dazzling thank you card that is Mr. Eads gift for us. Although Mr. Eads calls his deck an oracle, it actually has the format of a Rider-Waite tarot deck. His Major Arcana starts with the Death card in place of the traditional Fool who symbolizes the hero/heroine as they begin their journey. His last Major Arcana card is titled, Life on Earth” instead of The World card of the Rider-Waite deck. It is the start of a new cycle of incarnation as the soul begins yet another voyage on the Earth plane.

The Minor Arcana represent living a life on Earth. Mr. Eads deeply respects the classic Rider-Waite structure and gives us the equivalent card in the little white book that accompanies the deck. He further encourages us to integrate our understanding of the traditional cards with his reimagined versions. The artwork is stunningly beautiful. His choice of colors and style are perfect for the concept of this deck. Further, when the cards of the suits are placed in numerical order they create four exquisite panoramas that tell the story of each suit.

After preparing for my monthly New Moon reading, I asked the cards, “What do we need to know or do to flow harmoniously with the energies of this Scorpio New Moon so that we can manifest its most positive possible potential?”

I felt quite encouraged when the Life Map card made its appearance. The Life Map card is Mr. Eads take on the Major Arcana card, The Wheel of Fortune. My simple joyful interpretation of this card is simply- the good luck card! Things are going to get better. This is certainly good news when applied to this lunar cycle. We may face some stormy weather, but we will learn the lessons we are presented with, apply them and create a much happier future for ourselves.

However, staying true to the Scorpio style of always looking under the surface and digging deeper, I consulted the lushly illustrated book that can be purchased for this deck. As expected, Mr. Eads provides us with a much more nuanced and profound vision of this card. Life Map, he tells us is, “the blueprint of your complete history. Each glyph represents a different life you have lived, some simple and others much more complex. The Life Map shows our karmic debt. If things are difficult right now, know that you will learn from these lessons and come out stronger than before while some parts of fate are inevitable, we do have free will. If things are not going the way you hoped, then make a change.”

This advice really resonated for me as eclipses are seen to have a fated quality to them. Not only is their appearance dramatic, but eclipses involve the nodes of the Moon which are points of fate and destiny. It would be wise to spend some time pondering what events in our lives appear to  have been fated and which events we see that we actually have at least some control over so that we can decide what type of action to take moving forward so we may manifest the life we dream of. Journaling and using oracle card decks will help us to obtain further insights.

Strong and protective Chiastolite, also known as The Cross Stone will be a powerful ally to help us navigate this stormy lunar cycle. The distinctive cross sets this crystal apart. Try putting this crystal on your third eye and meditating during this lunation- especially at the Full Moon Solar Eclipse. This crystal will help to heal the turbulent emotional energy that the T square in this chart will evoke.

The Crystal Council, one of my favorite crystal websites tells us that Chiastolite will help us to open up our root chakras so that we can connect easily with Mother Earth and ground ourselves. Chiastolite also assists in peeling back the layers of who we truly are, helping us deal with all of our life experiences.  Perfect crystal for any Scorpio season, but especially for this one!

In direct contrast to the strong protective energy of the Chiastolite crystal, the lovely shimmering Abalone Shell has a gentle calming influence, cleansing our hearts of fear, sorrow and negative emotions so we can tap into the flow of Devine love that is always available to us. Abalone Shell is associated with the element of water, a direct link to watery Scorpio, softening some of the harshness of this month’s lunar cycle. Meditating with Abalone shell can help us to gain insight into how to best work with the energy of this lunation.

(I would certainly appreciate if you could also request the end of the killing both  in Ukraine and here in America, the disappearance of the Corona Virus and the quick healing of ALL of those affected and the healing of all inequality and hate ), feeling love in your heart as you do OR for ANY positive purpose whatsoever!

I will leave you now with two of my favorite quotes from Emily Brontë’s passionate novel, “Wuthering Heights.” I highly recommend both reading the book and watching the movie- preferably the black and white version made in 1939 starring Merle Oberon, Laurence Olivier and David Niven at some point during this intense Scorpio cycle. It is a true portrait of the essence of Scorpionic energy.  Perhaps read the book at the New Moon and watch the movie at the Full moon. Whichever…….

“He’s more myself than I am. Whatever our souls are made of, his and mine are the same.”

― Emily Brontë, Wuthering Heights

“I cannot express it; but surely you and everybody have a notion that there is or should be an existence of yours beyond you. What were the use of my creation, if I were entirely contained here? My great miseries in this world have been Heathcliff’s miseries, and I watched and felt each from the beginning: my great thought in living is himself. If all else perished, and he remained, I should still continue to be; and if all else remained, and he were annihilated, the universe would turn to a mighty stranger: I should not seem a part of it. My love for Linton is like the foliage in the woods: time will change it, I’m well aware, as winter changes the trees. My love for Heathcliff resembles the eternal rocks beneath: a source of little visible delight, but necessary. Nelly, I am Heathcliff! He’s always, always in my mind: not as a pleasure, any more than I am always a pleasure to myself, but as my own being.”

― Emily Brontë, Wuthering Heights

Wishing you a Scorpio lunar cycle filled with profound insights and a joyful connection to the very essence of life force energy.

New Moon Manifestation Ritual

During the new moon phase the moon goes from smaller to bigger so it is a great time to manifest anything you would like to increase.

Hand write a list of what you wish to manifest on a piece of paper. Be very specific!

Go outside and read your wishes aloud to the moon. Afterward thank the moon and the universe for listening.

Fold your paper and keep it in a safe and prominent place, such as your altar. Read your list daily, outside if possible, thanking the moon and the universe every time.

Do this every day until the full moon.
When the moon is full, read your list one final time, then burn it in the flame of a candle, sending it up to the universe.

Trust and know that your wishes will be manifested at the perfect time and in the perfect way for you.

Information papers for this ritual as well as for many items in our store are available free of charge every day at Karma!
