Want to Know the Energies You Can Expect from This New Moon?

A Special Message About The Energies of the Current New Moon From Reverend Pauline Southard

The Cancer New Moon of June 28, 2022 arrives in the late evening hours of Tuesday, June 28, 2022. We are tired and very ready to sleep but we can’t quite seem to get our domestic to do list out of our heads. We dream of a magical world filled with fairies and mermaids. A friendly wizard gives us sage advice. We wake up feeling groggy and disoriented, reluctantly letting go of our dreamtime adventures.

Ah, the Cancer New Moon! We look forward to a summer season packed with beach days and barbeques. Perfect for Cancer the Crab, the first of the water signs. At its best, Cancer is intuitive, sensitive and incredibly loyal to family. Cancer is the natural nurturer of the Zodiac. They love children and truly understand them in ways that go infinitely deeper than words can express. Cancer loves food and they can be spectacular innovative cooks. Cancer is very sentimental and deeply cherishes its memories of love and family.

When Cancerian energy is used unproductively it can be moody, suspicious and very reluctant to trust anything or anybody outside of its inner circle. Cancer can be very shy and unwilling to share feelings. Cancer natives often find leaving their home and moving a very difficult emotional process. Cancer has a tendency to live in the past and can prefer it to the actual present.

Famous people born with the Sun in Cancer include: Meryl Streep, Princess Diana, Edgar Degas, Julius Caesar, Patrick Stewart and King Henry the Vlll.

This New Moon chart has more than its share of complexity and intricacy which will gift us with a diverse array of opportunities to tackle some of our long standing soul challenges and provide us with possibilities to experience our connection with nature in  much more profound ways.

As almost all of the planets are below the horizon, we can expect to feel rather quiet and introspective at the time of this New Moon. This is right in tune with Cancer the Crab’s more inward-looking nature and amplifies the pensive mood that pervades the ethers now.

The most striking feature of this New Moon chart that will fuel most of this lunation’s dynamics is its close conjunction to Black Moon Lilith. Lilith is actually a point in space, like the lunar nodes.  Astronomy tells us that Lilith is the apogee of the Moon’s orbit, or that point in the orbit farthest from the Earth.

Although Lilith is relatively unknown, she offers us the gift of profound understanding about the role of women and sex in society and how that relates to how we see ourselves as women and how men might view us.

Lilith also shines a light into our shadow side, that part of ourselves that we are ashamed of and reject. Healing and integrating our Shadow Self enables us to become truly complete human beings with much more depth and much greater capacity to love. “The Velveteen Rabbit” by Margery Williams Bianco is a heart centered children’s book that beautifully illustrates the concept of the Shadow Self.

Lilith was Adam’s first wife and she was thrown out of The Garden of Eden after she insisted that she was the equal of Adam in every way and should be treated as such.

Traditional Western culture’s view of women and sex has given Lilith an undeservedly bad reputation.  She has been seen as “a kind of ghost moon, a shadow. In myth, she is also seen as a succubus, a night demon, a baby killer and a forbidden seductress” according to Dark Star Astrology. (Do check out their cool site!)  Lilith is also about the power, politics, and psychology of sex – quite a heavy burden!

Some astrologers have stated that Lilith lacks any redeeming qualities- unlike every other astrological feature! For me, Lilith at her best is the place in our charts where we can empower ourselves to be who we really are in terms of our gender and sexuality. Where we are willing to fight for who we really are and how we actually feel about that vital part of ourselves.  Where we can free ourselves to be our authentic sexual selves.

I look forward to exploring Lilith more deeply this lunar cycle both in my own chart and in my clients’ charts.

Black Moon Lilith in Cancer is an especially explosive placement. Cancer is the archetype of the almost Divine, nurturing, all forgiving, eternally loving Mother. She is completely selfless and doesn’t have any desires or needs of her own. Our culture sells us this unattainable myth, that if pursued will result in mental health issues for mothers and children with very unrealistic expectations of their mothers as well as how they might raise children someday. Black Moon Lilith describes how we can create appropriate boundaries for ourselves as mothers and nurturers.

Looking at our mother’s Lilith placement in her natal chart can help us to understand our own mothers better. This can lead to forgiveness and even reconciliation if appropriate.

Looking at our own Black Moon Lilith placement, we can receive insights on how we wish to embody the role of nurturer in our own lives, in whatever form that may be suitable for us.

As we are awaiting the Supreme Court’s decision on Roe vs. Wade which can decide the future for abortion rights for women in the USA, I see that this Cancer New Moon conjunct Black Moon Lilith is in the 5th house of the chart when it is set for Washington, D.C. The meaning of the 5th house includes children, lovers and creativity. The expected overturning of Roe vs. Wade will result in women losing the capacity to make choices regarding their own bodies, effectively disempowering them.

Sexually, it also effectively disempowers women’s choices about whom they wish to share their bodies with, since only women can become pregnant, while men can much more easily avoid the responsibilities of parenthood.

These are both Black Moon Lilith issues. In this chart there is a tripling down of the intensity of this energy which will give us a result that will be much more than the sum of its parts. We can expect a powerful backlash from American citizens who do not wish to return to the prior patriarchal view of motherhood, sex and parenting.

As astrology is a symbolic language we can also expect other manifestations of this New Moon conjunct Lilith Back Moon energy both in our internal world as well as the consensual reality that we live in. Astrology always works on a variety of levels, making it an incredibly profound tool to explore ourselves, others and the world.

Another important aspect of this lunation is the Mars square Pluto aspect. Power struggles and conflict are the key words for this combination of forceful planets. Nationally we can expect hidden information will surface about unscrupulous financial transactions during the course of the January 6 insurrection hearings. Distasteful money deals will emerge during the course of this lunar cycle involving the sourcing of oil for the winter heating season in the world market. Our national economic situation will continue to be precarious.

The octopus like tentacles of the big money networks that protect those who oppose common sense gun reform legislation will also be exposed to the light as more heart breaking news emerges from the Uvalde, Texas school massacre. They will make their best effort to fight back and block this necessary reform.

Well, that’s a lot of baggage to deal with for the beginning of the summer season! So, what can we do? I began with the Sabian Symbols to look for some suggestions. I love the whimsy of the Sabian Oracle Symbol for this New Moon, “Rabbits dressed in clothes and on Parade.” This symbol encourages us to use our imagination to create the outcome we desire.”

I see it as advice to not be so serious despite all the craziness happening every day all around us. Take some time out to have fun and play in ways that we usually consider to be beneath our dignity. After all, this is a 5th house Cancer Moon that loves to play as a child would! Including children we know and love in a new activity would be great fun for all. Add a beach and you have perfection.

Try a fresh form of creative expression. Watercolor painting, journaling and memoir writing are ideal. Meditating at the beach will also be a lovely way to enjoy this lunar cycle. For more serious entertainment, two books that embody the essence of this 5th house Cancer New Moon conjunct Lilith are: “A Year by the Sea” by Joan Anderson and Georgia O’Keeffe: A Life Roxana Robinson .

“A Year by the Sea” an autobiography by Joan Anderson is the story of how one woman’s journey of self-discovery gave her the courage to persevere in re-creating her life.

Amazon’s page tells us that “During the years Joan Anderson was a loving wife and supportive mother, she had slowly and unconsciously replaced her own dreams with the needs of her family. With her sons grown, however, she realized that the family no longer centered on the home she provided, and her relationship with her husband had become stagnant. Like many women in her situation, Joan realized that she had neglected to nurture herself and, worse, to envision fulfilling goals for her future. As her husband received a wonderful job opportunity out-of-state, it seemed that the best part of her own life was finished. Shocking both of them, she refused to follow him to his new job and decided to retreat to a family cottage on Cape Cod.

At first casting about for direction, Joan soon began to take pleasure in her surroundings and call on resources she didn’t realize she had. Over the course of a year, she gradually discovered that her life as an “unfinished woman” was full of possibilities. Out of that magical, difficult, transformative year came A Year by the Sea.”

I loved this book. Ms. Anderson does not pretend to be perfect and her vulnerability makes this book worth reading. Her story captures the essence of this complex New Moon which really is about the struggle to be true to ourselves and to learn to integrate our shadow sides with love and integrity.

Roxana Robinson’s biography of the American artist Georgia O’Keefe is a terrific read that tells the story of this iconoclastic artist who defied the societal conventions of her time and was willing to be true to herself. Her amazing art is a testament to her bravery and grit.

This month, I once again pulled a card from a new deck whose images resonate perfectly with the energy of this watery and multifaceted Cancer New Moon. The Förhäxa Tarot Deck by M.J. Cullinane is an incredibly beautiful magical deck with a dreamy feel to it. This indie deck is a Rider-Waite clone, making it relatively easy to read for an intermediate tarot reader.

Ms. Cullinane is best known for her very popular Crow Tarot deck which won the 2019 CARTA award for Best Tarot Deck and Best Illustrator of a Tarot Deck. She attended Parsons School of Design, yet her unique technique for telling stories through digital collage is self-taught and has been her passion for over 10 years.

Ms. Cullinane tells us that “this deck is based on the magical land of Förhäxa. (Swedish for to enchant, cast a spell, and bedevil), this is a realm where dark and light collide, where the elements hold court, where we find ourselves connecting to a force outside our own.”

I asked the cards, “What do we need to know or do to flow harmoniously with the energies of this intricate Cancer New Moon and manifest its most positive possible potential?”

When I initially tried to mix the deck, the cards spilled all over. The slippery card stock really does add to the feeling of otherworldliness that emanates from this deck, as though you really can’t physically contain the energy of these cards. Ultimately, the Eight of Water glided out.

I was delighted that this New Moon’s card was a member of the Suit of Water, since Cancer is a water sign. I love the omens that we are able to receive when we are in the flow.

The fairy depicted in the Eight of Water is in the process of initiating a major life change, Ms. Cullinane tells us, after becoming increasingly unhappy as time passed. After much soul searching, she has decided to transform into a mermaid, which more authentically reflects her true nature. Blue butterflies represent her watery transition.

Ms. Cullinane’s advice for us at this New Moon is to look into our hearts and see where situations have run their course and we need to be willing to make a change. At this time, this can involve major change and transformation in how we see ourselves and our relationships as well as how we perceive our identity and our childhood. Truly huge and fundamental shifts! However, this New Moon will highlight for us the continuing misery of staying stuck right where we are. It may be helpful to find a qualified mental health professional to guide us through these changes.

Traditionally I put two or three special crystals into the Manifestation Grid that help us to work with the astrological energies of the current New Moon. These additional crystals will energize the Grid and make it even more effective since I choose crystals that reflect the energy of the totality of the chart, not just the sign that the New Moon is in. I would encourage you to work with them as well since they are perfect for this lunar cycle. I love the energy of both of these crystals and I hope that you will enjoy them as well.

Comforting Rainbow Moonstone is a stone that is associated with the Divine feminine, especially archetypal Devine Mother energy. Moonstone will help us to access our intuition, psychic abilities, and clairvoyance. We will definitely need this assistance as we journey within ourselves to discover what new possibilities we may wish to manifest as we release our old and outworn current situations. Rainbow Moonstone can also support our self-expression, creativity, and ingenuity.

Gentle Pink Opal contains a large percentage of water- perfect for this watery New Moon. It will calm and soothe us as we face the challenges of our shadow side that New Moon Lilith may illuminate now. Meditating and sleeping with a Pink Opal can help us to be loving, kind and compassionate to ourselves as we accept and integrate that shadow energy, allowing us to accept our inherent imperfection without falling into despair and self-hatred.

I have been so grateful for the overwhelming positive response to the Manifestation Grid that I started eight years ago. I love seeing people put their requests into the grid and hearing about all the positive results so many of you have had. Now it is possible to either use the Manifestation Grid in person when you come in to Karma or you may continue to put your requests into the Grid at a distance as you have been doing during the time that the store was closed.

Archangel Metatron, my primary guide had channeled this method to help you to put your requests in remotely:

#1- Please write your intentions on a piece of paper with the date, feeling love in your heart as you do OR for ANY positive purpose whatsoever!

#2- Visualize yourself accomplishing your desire. (I would certainly appreciate if you could also request the end of the killing both  in Ukraine and here in America, the disappearance of the Corona Virus and the quick healing of ALL of those affected and the healing of all inequality and hate ), feeling love in your heart as you do OR for ANY positive purpose whatsoever!

#3- Using the picture on the Karma website, intend to put your request into the grid just as you would if you were in the store. Archangel Metatron has told me that he will help you to make that happen. You do NOT need to be good at visualizing! Every morning I will be charging the Grid with long distance Reiki and other powerful energies to help make your wishes come true.

#4- When you feel that the process is complete you may either dispose of the paper or put it on your altar, refrigerator or paste it into your journal. It is helpful but not necessary to spend a few minutes every day for the next thirty days repeating Step 3. Your intentions will be active in the Grid for the next 30 days. !

I am so happy that I am now back at A Time for Karma doing readings in person on Saturdays. Reading for you over the last 20 years here at Karma has been one of the most rewarding experiences I have ever had. Please call either A Time for Karma at (516) 442-3200 or you may call me directly at (516) 445-4242 to schedule your reading.

I will leave you now with the lyrics to one of my all-time favorite songs with a Cancerian theme, “Walk on the Ocean” by Toad the Wet Sprocket.

“We spotted the ocean,

At the head of the trail

Where are we goin?

So far away

And somebody told me

This is the place

Where every thing’s better

And every thing’s safe

Walk on the ocean

Step on the stones

Flesh becomes water

Wood becomes bone

Half an hour later

We packed up our things

We said we’d send letters

And all of those little things

They knew we were lying

They smiled just the same

And it seemed they’d already

Forgotten we’d came

Walk on the ocean

Step on the stones

Flesh becomes water

Wood becomes bone

Walk on the ocean

Step on the stones

Flesh becomes water

Wood becomes bone

Back at the homestead

Where the air makes you choke

People don’t know you

And trust is a joke

Don’t even have pictures

Just memories to hold

Grow sweeter each season

As we slowly grow old”

Wishing you a Cancer lunar cycle that enables you to successfully navigate the sometimes stormy waters of the journey to authenticity and some wonderful Cancerian play time!

Last Month's New Moon Message

The Gemini New Moon of May 30, 2022 arrives early on Memorial Day Monday, May 30,
2022 bringing with it parades, air shows and barbeques. Get ready for some fun this
Memorial Day!

Well, at least that’s the lighter side of this New Moon. As with 95% of all the New Moon
charts that I have analyzed since the pandemic began, there is definitely more going on
under that happy superficial surface. More on that later…
The essence of pure Gemini energy at its best is charming and witty. They radiate life
force energy and abundant vitality. You will find many Gemini natives pursuing careers
as writers, journalists, comedians, talk show hosts and salespeople.
When Gemini is exhibiting the shadow side of itself, it can be impulsive, inconsistent,
and superficial. This is the basis of Gemini’s reputation of being duplicitous. Gemini may
take a very long time to grow up and so may appear immature. The most extreme
example is Peter Pan- the boy who can fly, lives in a fantasy world and never has to grow
up.

From my very long experience with many Gemini relatives and friends, I have observed
that they experience life most vividly through their thoughts and ideas. This is to be
expected as Gemini is the first of the three air signs- Libra and Aquarius comprise the
rest of the trio. Air signs tend to live in their heads. For them their ideas can be more real
to them than actual consensual reality.

Gemini in particular can be extremely disappointed when their ideas about how things
should be just don’t work out. This can make them seem to be fickle, vacillating and
unreliable. Actually, they are trying to make their inner world match their external
experience –often an absolute necessity for them. Should they be unable to accomplish
this aspiration, don’t be surprised if they just walk away from the entire situation-
whether it be a project or a person.

Famous Gemini natives include: President John F. Kennedy, Sir Arthur Conan Doyle, Anne
Frank, Morgan Freeman, Nicole Kidman, Johnny Depp and Anderson Cooper.

At first glance, this New Moon offers us the promise of lighthearted amusement – perfect
for Memorial Day. For all of us on the east coast of the USA, the chart for this New Moon
has all of the important astrological pieces on the top of the chart indicating an
emphasis on action and the external world.

Further, Jupiter and Mars are conjunct in Aries- great for sports and all kinds of outdoor
fun. This conjunction will also provide us with wonderful potential for career growth and
opportunities- once Mercury has begun its direct motion on June 3, 2022. Until then
planning and strategizing would be best.

Diving deeper however, I see some significant clouds in the otherwise sunny skies of this
Gemini New Moon chart. This New Moon falls in the twelfth house of the chart when it is
created for the east coast of the USA. This encompasses NYC and Washington, D.C. The
Dark Pixie Astrology site (a great resource for astrological information) tells us that the
twelfth house is, “the house of the hidden, so transits and aspects involving the 12th
house often bring out something that’s been hidden in the dark and out into the public
consciousness, exposing dark underbellies and unseemly characteristics of
society/cities/countries/corporations.”

Unfortunately, we can expect to see headlines that will reflect the negative aspect of
this 12th house energy. There will be more revelations about what actually happened
during the insurrection in DC on January 6, 2021 and who was involved. Covid may throw
a surprising monkey wrench into our vacation and travel plans.

There will be gut wrenching, heart breaking revelations about the war in Ukraine. As a
nation, we will be shocked and despairing as we struggle to recover from the school
shooting in Texas as maddening information surfaces that perhaps will finally push
Congress to take some action to prevent this tragic carnage in the future.

We can also expect the unexpected as the 12th house is the house of that which is
hidden. Although typically we gain clarity at the Full Moon, the 2022 Gemini Full Moon
will only serve to stir things up even more, leaving us feeling confused and exhausted as
this Full Moon squares Neptune.

However, since the twelfth house is ruled by Pisces, which encompasses such a vast
range of skillful and unskillful expression, it is worth pointing out that the twelfth house
is also at its best, the house of our deepest transcendental nature and in fact our
connection to The Devine and all that is. Additionally, it represents endings followed by
new beginnings and karma. The 12th house is actually where we have the opportunity to
“wake up” and achieve enlightenment. Ultimately, it is the most spiritual and mystical of
all of the astrological houses.

This Gemini New Moon encourages us to use the power of our minds combined with our
deepest spiritual nature to truly see who we really are. One ancient path is the Neti Neti
meditation. Yogapedia tells us, “Neti-Neti is a Sanskrit expression that translates to
“neither this, nor that” or “not this, not this.” This expression is used in Hinduism, mainly
in Advaita Vedanta (non-dualistic spiritual practice). Neti-Neti is a form of analytical
meditation that helps the individual understand the nature of Brahman (absolute reality)
by first understanding what not Brahman is.”

We ask, “Who am I?” and realize that we are not our bodies, emotions or personalities. It
is a fascinating experience, a perfect way to explore the transcendental and nonlinear
with our minds. As a very young girl, I had discovered this meditation by myself and
didn’t know what it was until I was an adult. Sometimes, our past lives seep into this life
in some very interesting ways!

“Neti-Neti Meditation”, a short but helpful book by Andre Doshim Halaw will help you to
explore this mind bending practice. YouTube also has some really interesting videos that
may prove useful.

At its most profound, we are being challenged to use our minds to understand that which
is beyond the ability of the mind to comprehend and then to apply what we have learned
in our daily lives. Quite the metaphysical quest!

Mythology is another venue where the airy energy of Gemini the story teller meets the
mystical energy of the 12th house. Joseph Campbell’s book, The Power of Mythology is
the perfect book to read during this lunar cycle. Mr. Campbell has said that mythology is,
‘the song of the universe, the music of the spheres-music we dance to even when we
cannot name the tune.” Another Campbell quote brilliantly conveys the essence of this
twelfth house Gemini New Moon: “You can’t predict what a myth is going to be any more
than you can predict what you’re going to dream tonight.” Myths and dream come from
the same place. They come from realizations of some kind that have then to find
expression in symbolic form. Campbell helps us to see the psychology and spirituality inherent in the myths of so many diverse cultures and the common themes we all share as members of the human family. This should be required reading to help us bridge the polarization that is such a destructive force at this time.

On the lighter side, you could check out The Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy, a comedic
sci-fi romp through the galaxy that follows the adventures of Arthur Dent, an Englishman
who is saved from imminent death just before the complete destruction of Earth by the
Vogans and all its inhabitants by a friendly alien. Finally, Dent discovers the answer to
the “Ultimate Question of Life, the Universe, and Everything.”  Available either as a book
or movie, it certainly is an amusing take on this twelfth house Gemini New Moon.
For some pure uncomplicated Gemini fun (they love games!), try Wordle, a daily word
game that invites you to try and guess a five-letter word in just six tries. It’s fun, simple
and, like a crossword, can only be played once a day. Every 24 hours there’s a new word
of the day, and it’s up to you to figure out what it is. The site itself does a fantastic job of
explaining the rules: https://wordlegame.org/ Many of my friends love it!

This month, I once again pulled a card from a new deck whose images resonate perfectly
with the energy of this contradictory 12 th house Gemini New Moon. The Tarot of Mystical
Moments was created by Catrin Welz-Stein, an incredibly talented German artist. In
describing her process she says, “In my art, I blur the lines between imagination and
reality, while exploring womanhood in many different ways. I like to give my images a
vintage, ethereal feel. During the creative process, I scan old paintings, photographs and
illustrations, making sure they are in the public domain. I work digitally and transform
the scans by first tearing them apart. They are like puzzle pieces that I work together,
until they reveal a whole new meaning and tell an unknown story. “I really love her take
on the classic Rider – Waite deck!

I asked the cards, “What do we need to know or do to flow harmoniously with the
energies of this paradoxical Gemini New Moon and manifest its most positive possible
potential?”

I tapped the deck and The Magician floated out. Traditionally The Magician symbolizes
the bridge between the spiritual and material world. He has the power to use spiritual
energies and make them real. I always think of this card as a cue to create affirmations
that will enable me to manifest my goals- a terrific use of a Gemini New Moon super
charged by its placement in the twelfth house.

.Typically, The Magician is depicted as a man who is assertively wielding a baton and is
surrounded by a cup, a wand, a pentacle and a sword representing all four of the
elements. Red and white lilies surround him symbolizing passion and purity respectively.
The lemniscate above his head symbolizes his infinite ability to create.

Ms. Welz-Stein has created a charming and whimsical interpretation of this major arcana
card. Her surreal Magician is a young woman suspended in air, held by a hand in a
magical hat overlooking the beautiful emerald green landscape below her. She is looking
at the magical glowing wand she holds in her left hand which is connected to the
ethereal light that radiates from the top right corner of the card. With her right hand, she
pets a swan floating in water. Plants rooted in the hat grow behind her.

Ms. Welz-Stein’s Magician has all the elements needed to manifest her desires, the wand
(fire), the swan (water), the plants (earth) and the butterfly (air). However, since she is
naturally connected to The Devine, she simply needs to go within to tap into this power
and create. A much gentler but equally effective way to manifest desires. Perhaps, MUCH
more effective?

This card symbolizes for me the successful union of these two disparate energies
present in this New Moon chart- the light and happy Gemini energy and the
transcendental Piscean quality of the 12th house where this Gemini New Moon is located.

Ms. Welz-Stein’s meaning for her Magician card act as great suggestions for how we can
best use the energies of this New Moon: manifestation, channeled power and inspired
creativity.

Traditionally I put two or three special crystals into the Manifestation Grid that help us to
work with the astrological energies of the current New Moon. These additional crystals
will energize the Grid and make it even more effective since I choose crystals that
reflect the energy of the totality of the chart, not just the sign that the New Moon is in. I
would encourage you to work with them as well since they are perfect for this lunar
cycle. I love the energy of both of these crystals and I hope that you will enjoy them as
well. I’ve chosen two crystals this month to help us to harmonize the disparate energies
of the Gemini New Moon with the twelfth house where it is residing.

Mystic Merlinite, also called Indigo Gabbro is found in remote and exotic Madagascar.
Mystic Merlinite can give us that extra help we need to succeed at the spiritual quest we
are presented with during this cycle- using our minds to understand that which can’t be
grasped by the mind! Mystical Merlinite shines at enabling us to expand our mind and
third eye, ultimately leading us to spiritual awakening.

Unassuming but quietly powerful Angelite is a grey blue stone that helps us to raise the
state of our conscious awareness, bringing peace and harmony into all of our energy
bodies. As with all of the blue crystals it helps us to communicate more effectively, a
true Gemini quality. Angelite assists communication with our guides, guardians, angels
and our higher self.

I have been so grateful for the overwhelming positive response to the Manifestation Grid
that I started eight years ago. I love seeing people put their requests into the grid and
hearing about all the positive results so many of you have had. Now it is possible to
either use the Manifestation Grid in person when you come in to Karma or you may

#3- Using the picture on the Karma website, intend to put your request into the grid just

Your intentions will be active in the Grid for the next 30 days. !

I am so happy that I am now back at A Time for Karma doing readings in person on

most rewarding experiences I have ever had. Please call either A Time for Karma at (516)
442-3200 or you may call me directly at (516) 445-4242 to schedule your reading.

I will leave you now with two parting ideas, as befits the dual nature of Gemini.
The first is a quote from Walt Whitman, the famous Gemini poet whose birthplace is in
Huntington, NY. He said, “Happiness, not in another place but this place…not for another
hour, but this hour.”

The second, the song “Take it Easy” by Jackson Browne and Glenn Frey was The Eagles,
a classic American rock band’s, first single, released on May 1, 1972. It peaked at No. 12
on the July 22, 1972, Billboard Hot 100 chart. Its Gemini themes of fun, cars and
fickleness combine with a poignant twelfth house undercurrent of melancholy:

Well, I’m running down the road
Tryin’ to loosen my load
I’ve got seven women on my mind
Four that wanna own me
Two that wanna stone me
One says she’s a friend of mine

Take it easy
Take it easy
Don’t let the sound of your own wheels
Drive you crazy

Lighten up while you still can
Don’t even try to understand
Just find a place to make your stand
And take it easy

Well, I’m standing on a corner
In Winslow, Arizona
And such a fine sight to see
It’s a girl, my Lord, in a flatbed Ford
Slowin’ down to take a look at me

Come on, baby, don’t say maybe
I gotta know if your sweet love
Is gonna save me
We may lose, and we may win

Though we will never be here again
So open up, I’m climbin’ in
So take it easy

Well, I’m running down the road
Trying to loosen my load
Got a world of trouble on my mind
Lookin’ for a lover
Who won’t blow my cover
She’s so hard to find

Take it easy
Take it easy
Don’t let the sound of your own wheels
Make you crazy

Come on, baby, don’t say maybe
I gotta know if your sweet love
Is gonna save me
Oh, we got it easy
We oughta take it easy

Wishing you a Gemini lunar cycle filled with lots of fun and some interesting new ideas.

Full Moon

New Moon Manifestation Ritual

During the new moon phase the moon goes from smaller to bigger so it is a great time to manifest anything you would like to increase.

Hand write a list of what you wish to manifest on a piece of paper. Be very specific!

Go outside and read your wishes aloud to the moon. Afterward thank the moon and the universe for listening.

Fold your paper and keep it in a safe and prominent place, such as your altar. Read your list daily, outside if possible, thanking the moon and the universe every time.

Do this every day until the full moon.
When the moon is full, read your list one final time, then burn it in the flame of a candle, sending it up to the universe.

Trust and know that your wishes will be manifested at the perfect time and in the perfect way for you.

Information papers for this ritual as well as for many items in our store are available free of charge every day at Karma!
